| The simple principle behind our rubber stamp-making is that anything that is black on white can be turned into a rubber stamp. This means that text, handwriting, drawings or logos can all gain new uses when they become stamps - for identifying, marking, processing or decorating a card, a surface or a document. We use Apple Macs alongside conventional graphic work to achieve high quality original artwork, and transfer this to a permanent relief mould by a chemical process which is environmentally non-harmful. Natural rubber is used in a vulcanisation process to create the stamps which will last many years in normal use. We do not use lasers, polymer, or pre-inked foam technologies because we do not believe they can achieve the same quality. Our first aim is to make what you want. We try to be as clear as possible about what the finished result will be, the price, the delivery time, and suitability for purpose. We want you, the customer, to get what you expect. That seems fair to us, and fair to you. We have never advertised widely - we let our work speak for itself. Instead we rely on recommendations, word of mouth, and an excellent service. Your satisfaction is our aim. | | |
| Make Your Mark is a rubber stamp making business. We make rubber stamps to order.
Working from your instructions, we make exactly what you need as a rubber stamp or as a self-inking stamp. We offer free advice on how the stamp will be best designed to do whatever it is you want it to do. We can always match an existing design, or work from your instructions to create exactly the stamp you require. We have always specialised in making stamps from customer's own black on white artwork.
Our charges are based simply on the AREA of the stamp, to make the costing easy to understand by everyone. That includes the typesetting, layout of the design, a logo or graphic if required, the making of the stamp, as well as the delivery to you and the VAT ! There are no extras - just a very good service. We make rubber stamps as stock
We have been designing and making picture rubber stamps since 1985, and there have been eleven catalogues of rubber stamp designs before the current edition, shown on this website. There is huge range of original artwork, and there are many brilliant designs which have lots of uses. Our stamps are popular with all kinds of people and our range of stamps is not intended to be hugely popular - there is hopefully something for everyone.
Our stamps are only available directly from us - we don't sell wholesale, or have agents, because we only want to deal directly with you - the customer, and we want to be sure you are satisfied. We have several ranges of stock designs
As well as the general catalogue, there are separate sections or supplements which specialise in particular areas. The are: The Twelve Pages of Christmas - Lots of old favourites richly mixed with new exciting designs for seasonal card-making and all those yuletide projects. The Wedding Supplement - shows doxens of designs for invitations, order of service, and everything you need to complement the wedding.
The Teacher's Selection - of merit and reward stamps is highly popular with hundreds of teachers and schools - improving student's work and bring a smile with better results.
George L Thomson - artist and calligrapher, whose unique hand-carved designs make beautiful stamps and are shown in full here.
Japanese Calligraphy - with symbols for elements and occasions, all in a handsewn booklet.
We stock rubber stamp accessories
We always have in stock a good range of ink pads, inks and replacement ink cartridges for self-inking stamps. We also have date stamps and number stamps at different sizes, and these can be configured to order, plus many other typical stock items such as PAID stamps. We stock the Trodat Professional Line of self-inking stamps which are the best in the world for durability and reliability, and we have a full range of specialist inks for every surface.
We also stock embossing powders, pads and pens, heat tools and fabric inks - but there isn't room for everything in our little shop - so it's mostly full of rubber stamps! | | |
